Hi, glad to meet you 👋

I'm Qisen Pan (淇森). Most people know me as Will — because, as they say,
"Where there's a Will, there's a way!"

🎓 I'm currently a senior at UCSB, majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences 🧠, and I’m fascinated by how humans learn, think, and navigate this complex, ever-changing world. My passion for understanding the mind, combined with my love for technology, has led me into the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and Human-AI Interaction.

🔬 I've had the privilege of working in several research labs @ HAL, @ Mayer Lab, and @ AIR exploring AI assisted learning , human-AI interaction, and Large Language Models for mental health.

💡 Driven by a desire to enhance human capabilities through technology, I love designing intuitive, human-centered interfaces and innovative products that merge psychology, design, and tech. I find inspiration everywhere —constantly 👀 observing and reflecting on my daily experiences — and I've collected over 100 "Aha!" moments that sparked ideas to solve real-world problems.

💼 I applied my passion and skills in product design @ DrayEasy and @ OpusClip, designing user-oriented and intuitive features in both B2B and AIGC industries.

💫 Right now, I'm working on haX, my product aimed at improving human-AI collaboration by making task execution more effortless and enjoyable. I’m thrilled about the journey ahead, and I can’t wait to share it with you! 🚀

I love traveling — embracing adventures and exploring diverse cultures and environments. Traveling alone has a special place in my heart; it's like having an ongoing conversation between myself and the world. Every journey is a chance to discover more about who I am and to grow by tackling challenges on my own.

I also love photography. For me, it's more than just capturing pretty pictures; it's about shaping my perspective on society, humanity, and nature. Each photo tells a story, and each decision to press the shutter is driven by more than just aesthetics—it's storytelling. The scene, the movement, the posture of people and animals, the shadows—they all play a part in creating a narrative. In that split second, I aim to share my understanding of the world through the story I capture.
